Terms of Service

These terms govern access to HowAICite and the HowAI Suite. By creating an account, requesting a pilot or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms and the policies linked at checkout.

Seller and service identity

HowAICite and the HowAI Suite are software services created and operated by Nguyen Thanh Dan, an individual seller based in Vietnam and trading under the brands Danhoangda, HowAICite, HowAISafe and HowAITrust (collectively, “HowAI”). Paddle acts as merchant of record for eligible online purchases. The legal seller details applicable to a transaction are also displayed in Paddle Checkout and on the transaction record.

Service and accounts

HowAICite provides website audits, evidence storage, prompt management and AI citation intelligence features. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials and recovery codes secure, and all activity in your workspace. You must be legally able to form a contract and use the service only for lawful business purposes.

Subscriptions and renewal

Paid self-service plans are monthly subscriptions in USD. The selected plan renews automatically each month at the price shown before checkout, plus applicable tax, until canceled. Paddle displays the final charge before you submit payment. If pricing changes, advance notice will be provided where required before the new price applies.

Digital delivery

Paid workspace capacity is delivered electronically after Paddle confirms a completed transaction and HowAI verifies the signed billing event. A checkout redirect, pilot request or sales conversation does not by itself activate paid access. Enterprise scope, term, deliverables and acceptance criteria are defined in a written order before payment.

Cancellation

You can cancel online from Billing through the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access available through the end of the paid billing period. Deleting a workspace or stopping use does not by itself cancel a subscription.

Payments and failed charges

Paddle is the merchant of record and processes payments, tax and receipts under its terms. You authorize Paddle to charge the payment method for recurring fees and applicable tax. Access may be limited or suspended after an unpaid or disputed charge. Do not send card details to HowAICite by email.

Refunds

Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not automatically reverse a completed charge. Refund eligibility and the review process are described in the Refund Policy. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method; HowAI does not ask customers to accept an off-platform refund.

Measurement limitations

AI answers, citations and search results can vary by time, model, account, location and provider. HowAICite reports observations and evidence; it does not guarantee rankings, citations, traffic, revenue or continuous availability of any third-party AI platform. Plan limits do not guarantee that every provider is available in every market.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate law or third-party rights, bypass access controls, upload malicious content, interfere with other customers, resell access without authorization, or submit websites you are not permitted to test. Public-page audits remain subject to robots rules, rate limits and technical safeguards.

Customer content and product data

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant HowAICite the limited rights needed to process, secure and display that content for your workspace. Private workspace evidence is not a public endorsement. Any contribution to anonymized aggregate benchmarks requires the separate opt-in described in the Privacy notice.

Availability and changes

The service may change as it develops, and maintenance or third-party failures may interrupt access. Material subscription changes will be communicated when required. Beta, pilot and roadmap features may be changed or withdrawn.

Ownership

HowAICite and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, design, aggregate methodologies and independently developed datasets. These terms do not transfer trademarks or other intellectual property.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties not expressly stated here. HowAICite is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Any aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

Governing terms and mandatory rights

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator in Vietnam, without excluding consumer, privacy or payment rights that cannot lawfully be waived in your location. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Termination and contact

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk or legal necessity. You may stop using the free service at any time and cancel paid service as described above. Product support and legal notices can be sent through the Contact page or to howaicite@gmail.com.
