Refund Policy
Self-service plans are billed monthly. You can cancel online at any time to prevent the next renewal. This page explains when a completed charge may be reviewed for a full or partial refund.
Cancellation
Open Billing while signed in and select “Manage payment and subscription.” Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so you keep access until that date. The portal shows the effective cancellation date before confirmation.
Refund eligibility
Monthly fees are generally non-refundable once a paid service period begins. We will review duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized payments, a material failure to deliver purchased access, and cases where mandatory law requires a refund. A change of mind, unused capacity, failure to cancel before renewal or results that vary because an external AI provider changed do not automatically qualify. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
How to request a review
Email howaicite@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge or use Paddle buyer support. Include the workspace username, Paddle invoice or transaction number, charge date and reason—but never send a card number or security code. A request within 14 days starts a review; it is not a promise of an automatic refund. Our target is a first human response within two business days.
How approved refunds are paid
Approved full or partial refunds are submitted through Paddle and returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on Paddle, the payment method and the customer's bank. HowAI does not issue cash, cryptocurrency or a separate bank transfer in place of the original transaction.
Plan changes and service interruptions
Any credit or proration for a plan change is shown by Paddle before confirmation. Short interruptions do not automatically create a refund; material service failures will be reviewed based on their duration and impact.
Chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can investigate quickly. Nothing here prevents you from using rights available through your card issuer or applicable law.
